WORK INTEGRATED DEGREE Programs
Work Integrated Skill-based Higher Education aims to deliver the content and outcome through a blended approach. The hybrid nature of the programmes encompasses the theory component to cater the foundational concepts through physical, online, live classes, and the practical component to be delivered and practiced through On the Job Training (OJT) (at Industry/Live project/Site location). The composition of Theory and Practical components has been set to assure the student to be work-ready to enter a professional world as soon as the programme ends.
Traditional Degree
- Traditional Curriculum: Theory - Experiments based.
- Limited Industry Linkage: Due to persisting Academic - Industry gap in curriculum, Industry linkage is limited to Industry Visit and Intership.
- Work Experience (only) after Education: Recognition so entry to work (as trainee/intern) only possible after Education, due to limited access to practical skills and productivity, during education.
- higher Education for Awarding of Degree: Due to less Clarity/scope on interset and career, student randomly scopts for degrees with hope to decide later in future.
